No matter how much Zara wanted to stay away from the prince she kept floating back, back to the castle, back to his side. She found herself still watching over him. When princess Nina abandoned the prince and their engagement, the prince was once again crushed. Zara felt as if his pain were hers. Zara abandoned the plan of ever leaving his side again, because she knew she never could. Zara felt anger towards Nina who had vanished for everything she had put him through. See, Nina went after the prince even more so after Zara confessed her feeling for the prince to her. All Zara had ever asked of Nina was to take care of the Prince. Zara knew she'd never hurt him like that. After a short time the prince confessed his love to Zara. Even though this made her very happy she felt like a substitute. Although Zara was self conscious she was also prideful she didn't want to be anyone's second choice. Zara turned him down and was determined to flee from the castle for good. As she ran down the entrance steps she realized he was following her. She tripped and he caught her hand. She looked into his eyes and saw some of herself, pain, loneliness, distrust in the world. He had seen a lot of evil just like she had. She wanted to heal him she wanted to make him happy and even though he was a prince and she was a misfit she felt like she could. So when he asked her again she told him what she always really wanted to tell him, she told him she always loved him, and that she would be his as longs as he wanted her, and as long as he wanted no one else. Together, they would try to heal each others past scars and fight the wretched world together hand in hand, as eternal lovers.
