This could be an archive for people to look through when curious of what scurry anime to watch, and will serve as a way to give me something to reference for anything I would like to watch in the anime world.
There is only two rules #Do not post the same anime that has been stated by a different person #you must give a brief description of what the anime is about without spoiling it
Yukiteru "Yuki" Amano is a loner who spends most of his time writing a diary on his cell phone or talking with his imaginary friends Deus Ex Machina, the God of Time and Space; and Murmur, Deus' servant. One day, Deus gives Yuki a special diary, mentioning something about a game. Strangely, Yuki's new diary has entries in it spanning the next 90 days—entries about the future that come unnervingly true.
Mononoke follows a wandering, nameless character known only as the "Medicine Seller" (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai). The series is made up of individual chapters in which the medicine seller encounters, combats and subsequently destroys mononoke. The "mononoke" are a type of ayakashi, unnatural spirits that linger in the human world.
The Medicine Seller always proceeds in the same manner, using his knowledge of the supernatural to fend off the mononoke until he can learn the spirit's shape (Katachi), truth (Makoto) and reasoning (Kotowari). Only then can he unsheathe his sword and exorcise the demon.
The English subtitles translate these three necessities as Form, Truth, and Regret.
Welp, I will give you bonus points for not posting the obvious ones like. . . Another or Higurashi

Re: Horror Anime
Another wasn't really horror, more supernatural, but it was one of the maybe two animes I know where the main was a believable character. He wasn't a total bitch but at the same time he occasionally had his fuckfuckfuckNOPE moments.
There was a manga I used to read called "Catagory freaks" I know it isnt anime but I'm not very into horror so it's all Ive got. It's about a group of monster hunters with dark powers. Everything about it is rather dark and creepy as I recall. I might re-read it now that I've thought about it.

Ghost Hunt
Love the scene with the doll in it, as well as some other parts

What she said. That's one of a few rare animations that ocasionally gave me a gosse bumps. Most of the rest was more of a psychological factor and my imagination instead of a horror thingy. It's a little bit outdated but still has many universal feats of a good horror story / stories.
There's also the Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, which is considered as horror by some many for story and (especially) battle scenes are made in a unique, creepy way. Some love it and some hate it.
I'm not sure if I should count that for horror but two animes made my skin crawl but because of how they were playing with your mind instead of scaring you in a regular way. One was Shinsekai Yori, and second Bokurano.
There's also an single animated movie, not really an anime but close enough, from a Dead Space universum called Dead Space: Downfall.
[EDIT]
Oh, also if you are more into obscure and utterly disgusting stuff there's an anime movie called Gyo. I wouldn't recommend it to watch even my least liked user tho.
