Post subject:  [NSFW] COMIC: The Private Eye

What is this comic series about?

It's a post Brave New World world, where cloud computing has inevitably failed humanity in preserving the matter of privacy and confidentiality. Before, people dump their info and data into the cloud, believing it to be a guaranteed secure method of information transmission. Secure? When there's a will, there's a way. Yes, unfortunately, information leaked into the public (you can blame 4chan, but that attack is a bit on the real life side anyways). People can see each other in (nearly) all electronic activities by research; they are now playing the role of a data miner, be it for marketing or even sinister espionage/sabotage. In the aftermath, the entire internet closed down. People had to wear fucking disguises to prevent dangerous identification. That is, until at least a few generations past. Things went back to the 1980ish or something like that. While there is still a few technological advances, it clearly states that people are going old skool like it's cool. Pretty hardcore setting, I like it! But what's this? An aspiring mastermind seeks to reopen the internet once again amidst the harmful effects of invasion of privacy and confidentiality. Now, a intentional Big Brother surveillance motive! Blame them fucking hidden Samsung television cameras too!

What I fucking like about the message is that it warns, like those Big Brother books, about the corruption of power rendering those who are vulnerable to its will. It's the fight against the man, as you can say. However, it also explore different perspectives about the technology of the internet and its cloud computing development. It's about how information would be in the hands of a complete strange entity, which is outside the trust of the (personal) information holder. Personally, a server is still a goddamned server. A backup may do, but will open risks to promote cloud servers.
