Anime vs. Manga
I know that there are a lot of individual cases, sometimes you might prefer an anime over a manga, sometimes the other way around, but say you could only have one...
What would it be?
For me, manga: Physical manga is much more portable than anime, or rather, they are equally portable, but for anime you need some sort of player. For digital copies, manga takes up so much less room than anime it's not funny. Not that memory is expensive these days or anything.

Re: Anime vs. Manga
I tend to stick to manga. I study the art styles and try to put it to use in my sketches.

Re: Anime vs. Manga
I would never be content with just one or the other. Both have their ups and their downs.

Re: Anime vs. Manga
I'm with D but if onl one was allowed to be made i would go with anime. I mean sometimes i like imagining the motions in my head, some times i like putting my own color to manga, sometimes i think the story for an anime is better than the one for the mange?

Re: Anime vs. Manga
In context of the plot or quiltity of Anime and Manga; I agree that their are special cases, for example the Eureka 7 and Code Geass animes are largely better then their manga versions, while seires such as Loveless and Love Hina have better manga then anime. Largely it depends on what the writers create first, since usually when a series strats as a manga or anime it tends to be supported better then its manga or anime counterparts.
Going into the actually nature of manga and anime I would have to vote manga. For one censorship laws take to take far more out of an anime then was orignal planned for the series. Also, anime episodes are harder to absorb accuratly since more work is done in their creation then manga causing their infrequant realise, and anime tend to speed past parts that would normally be seen in depth in manga. As well their is the fact manga are easier to come across then anime in stores making the availblitly significantly greater. Stated before it was said Manga are easier to carry around then anime; I strongly argee with that due to its similaritie to the diffrences between book and tv, which is roughy the same as anime vs. manga. Now I should stop/

Re: Anime vs. Manga
What I do is read the manga's and buy the movies on DVD.
Manga is better written than anime and has more action too.
The only way you can take anime with you is if you buy it on Umd or download it on psn.
