Cherokee In the Mirror My face is along mask. My eyes are caryis through the soul. My cheekbones high and proud to be there. My nose crooked is my humor. My hair is crazy in the mind. I am not red skinned but have the heritage of cherokee. My mustache is short of being shaved. Why is it heart broken when the heart is not? Why is it heart broken when the heart is not? Is it because of the sadness? Or is it the longing of something? They havn’t told me yet. But some day someone shall. Does it really hurt? Or is it just an expression? Why is it heartbroken when the heart is not? |
