Re: What makes you so certain that you exist at all? The real must imply reality. One cannot be anxious is there is no such thing as anxiety. Nothing can be luminous if there is no such thing as luminosity.
In any case, were there no reality, you would have nor perceptions to speak twist, at least not as we are used to discussing them.
However, it should also be noted that the concept of reality is not one that is clearly agreed upon across cultures, time and philosophical traditions, nor is it's importance highlighted in all those areas, nor necessarily present even. There is even some indication that for a long time there was no understood concept of reality. Of course, this doesn't mean that reality in itself is not real. The concept could be an accurate development, even if it's details are not agreed upon. It could also be inaccurate, a path of exploration, or of mere occurrence, that in the end is only a distraction. However, it is difficult to even discuss such a possibility in most modern languages since the concept of reality is one that so strongly permeates even the language, indeed the language was born with such concepts, that it can not meaningfully express an alternative, and likewise inhibits thought of an alternative or absence.
