Re: Silo
That's pretty cool. Weird how there's so much graffiti down there, though. Seriously. Maybe it was used as a hideout for a bit.

Re: Silo
I'd love to go to Colorado. This is exactly the sort of place I need as a listening outpost and/or control node.

Re: Silo
Put in a hybrid two-stage generator to shear carbon dioxide and dust from the air, build a small cabin over it, and BAM, you're pretty much set up for life.

That's what the two-stage generator's for. joshex wrote: and "install a fridge"
All in due time... joshex wrote: and "install central heating"

YomToxic wrote: What? You guys can't br- oh wait, yeah, you can't. It's not about breathing under teh water it's about pollution, with all that grafiti in there I can just immagine how many took a piss or crap into the water over the years, or jerked off into it. 'breathing' or even swimming in it could be disastrous, plus it's underground water it'll be F-ing freezing, it'll make you nipples ice over after your heart stops in 30 seconds, just like swimming in the arctic without an insulated wetsuit. trust meh, Pump, scrub and sterilize, I'll help lol.

Re: Silo
It is probably pretty nasty in there. I wouldn't touch it. It might eat your hand.

Re: Silo
I'll just move the flooding topside, add some rubble to give the whole 'this entire area has collapsed onto itself a long time ago and there was never a missile silo here' look.
The server clusters will love the cold below.
