In case you are wondering (you probably are not, but it's a way to start a topic) I'm up late primarily because I've been working on fixing a thing that is part of my job to fix and I have not been able to fix for a long time because I guess I suck and doing my job or something and it really kinda needs to be done by tomorrow otherwise we have to go with a backup plan and at that point it will look like I really just don't add much to my job. Which possibly is the case, to be honest. I used to be good at the work I did, but then I was moved into a weird newly made position that wasn't well defined, kept changing, promised training and direction at some points and didn't deliver much, etc. Other excuses. I get some things done and have learned some things but really, I'd be happier and more valuable doing something else probably, but don't really know where I could move into at this point. |
