Post Wages should be public, or at least public within a company
That way everyone knows where they stand and if they are being compensated reasonably by comparison, or at least has a better idea. I think the primary reason we don't do this, and the reason people are poisoned with fears of doing this voluntarily themselves, is so that employers have the upper hand in negotiating wages and can get away with paying a worker significantly less if that worker isn't good at negotiating their wage upfront.

just find out what the company's annual gross income are, then divide by twice the number of total staff (in the company's originating country, cause fuck india and taiwan), this is the wage you should be making.

why twice the staff? to cover raw material/rent/utility cost, a raw material, rent and utilities an employee is using to make a product should not exceed the cost of their time's worth making it.

so say you work at microsoft, say they make 20 billion and have 10,000 employees in the USA, double that number to 2ok to cover material/rent costs, then divide 20 billion by that number in this case each employee should be walking away with 1 million a year.

but you must be careful to get the gross profits number not the net, the net is after wages, corporate holidays, CEO bonuses and amassing of unnecessary amounts of office furniture and office furniture repair part supply (to offset the stocks so it looks like they legitimately didn't make a profit and thus their stock doesn't go up too much or goes down. there are many corporations which claim a net profit of $0 when they went through $168 billion per quarter.

168x4=672 of that maybe 160 billion is the total employee pay if they have 20 million employees ($8000/year each or thereabouts). that means the other 500 billion is either being used to over pay for some raw materials or rent or utilities to some crazy extreme or it's just being squandered.

so if your corporation makes 672 billion and has maybe 400k workers in the USA (and is a USA company) then you are due $840,000 a year. or at least thats what you should be making, it is /YOUR/ surplus, and don;t let anyone tell you it's not your surplus! it was your work that made what you made you deserve the compensation for the work because without you the corporation couldn;t meet demand and wouldn't have made anything no matter how great their shit was.

remember that, your boss is buying your labor to perform a task they have deemed too hard or too great in quantity for them to do themselves, they need a team, they often don't even work except to manage their team.

to own a process should earn you one employee's worth of pay, to actually work the same as your hired staff should earn you a second. there is no third and should never be.

Aren't wages decided by work-time? It'd be easy to calculate that by measuring the total time clocked in.

Salary was made to pre-negotiate a wage, however both parties stand to take a hit from it, if business is poor the company could suffer, but in today's world business suffering is a rare occurrence, more often than not it is the employee who is shortchanged and the employer who walks away with extra cash.

people used to work on contingency, and that is the best model because it's fair and truthful. people were tricked into the wage machine during the great depression, some people used it before that but it really wasn't popular. people were told it was a safety measure to insure they always get paid even in hard times, fact is the market is different more often than not there are no hard times for businesses.
