Who knows a language other than English?
What language?
Do I care?
Maybe. I hear talking to someone exclusively and frequently in another language is one of the keys to learning it quickly, and to start immediately, while you still are shit at the language and can barely say anything.

Re: Who knows a language other than English?
Human language or machine language? I can describe anything using Assembly; alas, it's a turing tarpit.

Re: Who knows a language other than English?
Brainfuck. Whitespace. I actually have a list of languages I want to learn. I'm just really unmotivated.

It's over 60 years already frim divide of north & south so lots of korean parts are different. Biggest part is, South has no concern the foreign words like ice cream(There was no korean word for ice cream before it imported) and North pretends to change those words into pure korean even it sounds weird. Even sometimes same sound of word uses as different meaning(kind of nuance) like 'lady' or there are two different word for one meaning, like 'toy'. They call their korean 'Culture Language'.

Re: Who knows a language other than English?
I can fumble my way to a bathroom in Spanish. GF speaks fluent French, so I'm slowly learning the cuss words to that language... and "Brosse toi les dents", which she tells her kid every night. I assume it's "brush your teeth", by context/ the word dents.

Re: Who knows a language other than English?
I didn't say I liked it. I strongly dislike the French for any number of reasons. However, I do want to know when I'm being cussed at.

Re: Who knows a language other than English?
That's fair. Is fair a frenchie word? I have a distrust of any lowercase "I" because it wears a dot like a hat.

Germanic, I believe. Can't swear by that, though.

Re: Who knows a language other than English?
Ah yes french, because appetizers are what the whores devour.
Hors d'oeuvre
because france is filled with real perverts of the strange variety, the kind that openly take a whore out to eat. and she openly runs up their bill with costly appetizers.

A few years ago I started learning Korean, partially because my wife likes a lot of Korean media stuff (music groups, tv, some other stuff), partially because my company was willing to buy us some basic korean language learning software as we were expanding into that market. I got farther than my coworkers anyway, and learned the alphabet decently (since it's really easy), and a handful of other things. I'd kinda like to learn more Korean as I find the country and culture fairly interesting.
