I want to iterate about the anti-obscenity laws that had took place in the country. I, for one, am afraid of its first step against the freedom of speech. Combined with the past history of military governance, one got to check about the record of democracy given the recent events of Trump rigging elections and stuff like that. You can never be too sure in some cases. Yeah, you can say, "Don't thread on me!". Anywhom, I believe that there might be a governmental/political reason behind the early sudden closure regarding the need to address obscene material found in the country. I am even afraid of the possible threat of mixed interest militarism and oppression upon Nippon's infrastructure (although one can say they can hold out to some degree). What if those laws start extending beyond the borders? Surely, the anti-obscenity laws will encroach upon the obscene usage/gimmicks of manga products and other past time stuff like that. Eventually, freedom of speech will be under threat of compromise. Now, some say that manga is a part of the social identity and things like that. Some even say that there is more military propaganda agenda to stop the identity into cultural genocide. But what do I know about new generational culture? I personally don't care as I grew up to think it as some Westernized sell-off. Back to the drawing board, I'm gonna say there's some pretty brutal machination running. It's not like 1984, but more like 1984x20 due to the almost immediate coverage of the area. Like a concentration camp, yeah! I don't dare to associate if there is a matter of jeopardy at stake. In fact, I had some experiences with the said ruffian agents. Not that I was (always) directly affected as a (selected) social/political target, but I'm a not (primary) threat whatsoever. trump rigging elections? since when? US people voted, not russians. After the votes were recounted it was proven that actually there were a lot of felons and illegal immigrants voting for hillary. the DNC had even struck inside deals with california to make it suddenly pop 100% in her favor without warning, they rigged thier own primary and were trying hard to rig the entire election. it's only fair that their allies the russians decided to betray them out of contempt. |
