All them Asian governments are below sub-par in the level of civil rights, liberties, and freedom. While they have certain strengths, never, never will they outshine the ideals of Western civilizations. Now I get it, someone gonna smack me and say, "Hey, manga's Asian, right?". Well, the manga of the yesterday, yes, because it's in authentic cultural origins. The current (market) trend of manga and of its instances is geared towards a more global (paying consuming Western [LOVE FOR THE WHITE MAN!]) audience. Some say that it's just a matter in reflection of life. Some say that the trend is based on the empowerment of the fellow Happas and their rights as citizens. When I care is when I care. |
