You know what? It's just probably better to try out some ear drops or hydrogen peroxide (better than isopropyl alcohol; hell, I don't even use it often, flammable, burns up ears, burns upon contact) in one minute. I am usually concerned about the water flowing into the ears during bathing/showering. Earwax still build up even if you don't water the ears. It's just that there seems to be more ringing and deafness with water clogs.

When to apply solution, before, after, or without bathing/showering; I am not even so sure myself. Effects might be unknown. I probably opt out of watering the ears as it's not too efficient. You will still experience ringing and deafness with any liquid clogs. Probably dizziness due to the contents. The right solvents just dissolve and evaporate quicker and better. You might have to press ear to increase volume. Waiting out the ear ring pain is necessary. GET TUFF! Ugh, I hate that bubbling sizzling feeling, but it's probably for the best, probably more than one minute.

God gave us small fingers for a reason. you can use them as plungers for clogged ears. insert small finger straight into ear hole, then angle hand so small finger is then pointing down at 45 degrees, gently pull finger out. repeat if necessary.

Also you can melt the wax with a hot washcloth behind the ear first. that will help it drain and be plunged out by your finger.

I am typically messing with something on my face, either my nose eyes beard or ears, or the hair around my ears, all day long. I used to have problems with congestive ear wax, I'd pull out black solid globs of wax usually surrounding a single hair that got in there from a haircut or pillow or something. but since I started daily cleanings with my fingers I haven't had major issues in years.

Okay, I think I'm getting closer and closer to the best of earwax solution(s).

I try to prevent as much water to seep into the ears, especially at bath/shower time. Scratch-like or rub-like the hair areas around the ears. Try not to let water drip into the ear canal. Water clogs brings out reduced hearing, and ringing, and shit like that. However, the earwax will eventually build up to bring about at least reduced hearing/listening.

Even then, ear plugs and stuff like that, can lead to problems in pushing earwax into a wax obstacle or something of the sort! My suggestion fix is that you should hold the bottom center of the concha (the hollow part in front of the ear canal) adjacent to the ear canal area, and pull (not that hard!) not downward, but outward. Try the bottom left and bottom right adjacent to the ear canal area as well. Next, you should hold the tragua (a small pointed eminence of the external ear, situated in front of the concha, and projecting backward over the ear canal) adjacent to the ear canal area as well. Pull (not that hard!) the tragua outwards as well.
NOTE THAT THE EAR CANAL AREA PULL METHOD IS A DRY WORKAROUND METHOD TO DRY EARPLUG OR DRY EARWAX BUILDUP SITUATIONS!!! HAVE NOT TESTED IN WET CONDITIONS! AT LEAST TO RECORD INCREASED VARIOUS DEGREES OF SUCCESS. FOREIGN OBJECTS, INCLUDING EARWAX IS TO BE ROUTED OUT OF EAR CANAL!!!

When earwax builds up regardless, despite the ear canal area pull method, it is definitely time to bathe the ears to liquefy the wax. Don't force down the water down into ears. Example is ear under water facet. It is stupid idea and you're just putting wax further into the ears, increasing reduced hearing, ringing, and shit like that. Instead, let the ear submerge into water and do the hand wave wash parallel to the side of your ears. It's not much, but you don't want the water to liquid pressure onto the wax further into the ears, increasing reduced hearing, ringing, and shit like that. Now, I'm going to admit that water isn't going to remove the wax just like that. It just softens up the wax so expect your ears to do the major job.

We're not done yet! After the ear wash, your ears may be water clogged. That's how it is. Try out some ear drops or hydrogen peroxide (better than isopropyl alcohol; hell, I don't even use it often, it is flammable, burns up ears, burns upon contact [try opting out of isopropyl alcohol]) in one ~ five minute(s). Note that ear drops or hydrogen peroxide are water solutions with diluted earwax cleaning chemical agent for safe medical administering. After that, I would leave the ear watering alone until the next dry earwax buildup. You may still have hearing problems as the results aren't instantaneous. Just wait it out for a few days to a few weeks. Your hearing should get back on track. Now, I'm going to admit that ear drops or hydrogen peroxide aren't going to remove the wax just like that. They just soften up the wax so expect your ears to do the major job.

To address daily ear bathing and ear drop application, as in an attempt to bring out readily instantaneous optimal hearing, I am usually concerned about the water/liquid flowing into the ears during/after bathing/showering. Earwax still build up even if you don't water the ears. It's just that there seems to be more ringing and reduced hearing with water/liquid clogs. I am just not sure if putting any foreign object into your ears is a good idea. They may bring out reduced hearing, and ringing, and shit like that. Your earwax is foreign enough!

hydrogen peroxide is usually a go to it shouldn't require a shower but if you want do it before the shower as the water particles that get absorbed by your ear wax will dilute the hydrogen peroxide making it slightly less effective

I’m not sure I’d want to imagine swimmers ear with hydrogen peroxide.
