When, I see them houseflies/flesh-flies, I know that I have to resort to toxic spray cans to reach the fuckers.

However, sometimes, they go to areas that needs to be vaccinated. No, I don't leave the scent of shit to linger, sometimes, it's just light. I need to get some control procedural methods on that (outside lights @ night).

That's when I decided to use a simple spray bottle w/ soapy water.
Too bad, it doesn't kill right away. I didn't expect it too.
However, the repeat fire of water spray prevents the fly to take off and I was able to knock it to the ground for a waste crush.

Well, at least I can deal w/ flies in the disabling department. I'm looking for some simple enough chemicals that kill flies, but not too hazardous for human beings. The ingredient composition needs to be simple. No bio-chemistry degree know-hows of natural oils shit and all that.

Simple enough.
I need to mix in a floor cleaning solution? I need to look up on that.
Well, it didn't work. A spray can can do it, but surely, there are other options, right?

No, fly traps are good, but we are talking about securing your residing parameters here. No attracting, trapping, and catching flies either.

Also found the insect growth regulator (IGR), but they can be different on the amount of danger to human beings. They are technically insecticide.

I doubt flies would handle well against something like water and hydrogen peroxide or some other pain causing natural chemical.

So I finally got the fly gun. It's like a pellet shotgun, fucking crazy. I don't even care for bird hunts with a shotgun, but I know the pellets are there to kill game with the hit ratio or least impact to the meat. I do expect that there won't be a anti-fly rifle, so I accept that given fact. Don't carry it around like it's no biggie either. Someone's gonna notice and trip out (most know the signs, but you know it happens). And there are more expectations and limitations.

One, when you load, you must load in a balanced position. No loading while pointing down, the ammo load won't be filled fully.

Two, loading with the jack (off?), will take considerable strength so be quick about it.

Three, the safety, but that's expected for a device like this.

When you finally aim upon target, you have to remember that this is technically a shotgun! That means you DO get a kickback and the side effect experience of the freaking semi-weapon thingie. Hold it like a shotgun, not a pistol (use two hands [and the rest of the body posture], of course). Oh yes, it's plastic and molded by half. It's like a dangerous made in China product so be careful with it! It's like abusing your fingers with a shovel overtime! Treat it like a shovel! I SUGGEST TO WEAR SOME COTTON GLOVES BEFORE USING THIS SHOVEL-LEVEL FLY SHOTGUN THINGIE!

Aside the bad things (or not?), the good thing is that it doesn't stink up the place with either spray can or fly trap (I hate those things, ruins your enjoyment of the garden or something like that). Yes, it can aim and disable/kill off the fly (can die immediately or in time). However, it is a shotgun! You might miss. Again, however, if you aim closer, you will hit it. The salt pellets will collect and dig into the fly, but the fly may rupture too much to stink up a bit. I suggest to back away before performing a fly salt-stoning shot. Try to kill it without much of a rupture!

Is this really fun? Sort of, but you need to risk a bit of physical restraint and use cotton gloves at the least! Like a real gun, it can hurt you in overuse! Yes, some people do get scared of guns, but I learned long time ago that people can use guns for any given reason! No copper can save you if you are against a gang of people! It's like a real life horror movie. Any time to be a wild westerner? Remember, even though it's not a real weapon, it still performs like a shotgun jack so careful with it. Should this gun replace all convenient anti-fly devices? No! Of course not! I will still use the spray over the trap, but of course, I don't want to spray up flies in the open. The spray is better for trapped flies (more useful against mosquitoes). I hope that the gun can replace the role of the still more conventional fly swatter because I hate to eat up the smell and shit. I once gotten sick from over-swatting! @_@

Should it be a buy? Well... that's hard to say, but I call it a extra factor of anti-pest control. Very true for those occasions when you just hate (CLEANING) those smelly fly traps. Yes, there are zapper traps too, but it's like the collection of smell or something like that. Maybe it's due to the source of rot that matters, but when a doorway is close enough, you do get the prevalent attack of fly intrusion. That, I admit. However, it won't be useful if you happened to have flies enter a different room for similar reasons. I would trap them flies and spray them dead. So why get the fly shotgun? Well, you can't spray up the flies in the open like the holocaust, right? This shotgun is a step forwards, if not backwards. To be used outside, against surface areas, away from people, preferably. I always wonder if they can be used for agriculture use? I know for sure, I can use this outside during cooking time. Knock them flies out of the doorway!

If I were you I'd get 200 scented zapper traps and laugh maniacly as I commit fly homicide

But at least you get to use a shotgun to kill flys.

One or two shots will at least disable it from flying too well. The third will render it twitching or dying. The fourth will certainly kill it. A wasp will pick up the carcass. Damn, they are pretty big for flies. Must be the alpha elite centari.

However, hoverflies are great. They hover around like a helicopter. Cool speculation, but it usually means that there are pests around. They handle the maggots. I am sorry if I hit them. Couldn't tell.

Where the fuck are you summoning so many varieties of fly? Perform some spiritual rituals or something because you've got a plauge of flies

Tried this on a short centipede, busted its chops by half! In the summer time, the flies are more stale so they crack open like tin cans.

Bad news, the gun still requires the range of around a fly swatter for a 1 hit neutralization. Another (close enough) shot should kill off the fly. I checked the conical spread of the close up shot against mud, it does spread out fast. Well, I guess the gun is just really fly swatter 2.0. The pros are better reachability of surface areas, less mess in neutralize/kill, and less need to try not to break fly swatters (you can get the wire ones, but I am sure that they might bend). The cons are angle aiming may affect salt load in lower ammo supply and the range to neutralize, if not kill, is akin to of a fly swatter. At least there won't be any hunting accidents. Safety is a good issue. I guess range isn't much of a problem, but I am afraid to scare away resting flies. Don't want too much of a bacterial explosion either!

Besides the fly swatter neutralization range, this product is technically a gun! Doesn't matter if it's meant for flies, it's a gun. If you carry it around in public, be sure to know your gun laws! That concerns on how you carry and load it. If you start firing off in public, I hope that the law allows the possibility of sport hunting, in public, amid stirring up a ruckus. Otherwise, you will get arrested!
