Well, I guess the coronavirus turned out to be an environmental success? Winter season brought in around 10 degrees lower in temperature? I guess so. Anyways, probably a prepper post in reservation, but asides from the heater, there are things to keep in mind to ward off frostbites. If you can't feel, it could be a problem!
For us computery geeks (who don't have the luxury to stay in during the blizzard), we need to apply plenty of petroleum jelly on the extremities as reasonably as possible. Yes, the shit smells, but on the cold days, the scent doesn't explode into a miasma. Since the hands can freeze off due to cold computing, try a beanie hat with a fuzzy (enough) interior. The retainment along with the jelly and heater should smooth heat, not melt heat, your hands back to recovery in due time. Not in short time, but reasonable enough time. Application only to mouse control, good luck on the keyboard control. Hey, that could be a new idea! Frostbite resistant thermal computer gloves/mittens. Maybe, that will work.
