just out of curiosity, what did you do to get banned?
this really is proof we need our own private chat again. Lime, as you are more or less in charge of forum updates etc. can you do some recon for a new free chat that can be linked here? Yom managed to get a AJAX chat working. but has not been able to attach it to the site. that might be a good starting point.
I do suggest we should likely do a custom P2P chat with a server thats merely a router at some point. It'd be easier to accomplish if it was actually on a stable IP address, I was going to do this myself but I don't have the means to have a stable IP, instead I was looking at methods to make a client in which each client is a potential server, and when the first client at any point connects, it automatically lists it's IP address on the website in the hidden location only the chat client can access so other clients merely look it up.
getting a public IP from the cleint side is fairly simple;
Merely have javascript/php run CMD.exe with ping random website(could be forkheads), and then use a javascript socket listenner listen to port 7? for the ping response which contains your public IP address.
seriously though, we really need our own chat where we can fuck around. none of us should be getting banned.
