I picked up a few posts regarding hummus. It was only recently that I checked thoroughly about its origin.

According to the wiki, hummus is Arab dip. The origin is said to be from Egypt, but probably under Arab governance.

I love hummus, and Don't really see how it being Arabian causes problems.
