Sugar syrup.
8 teaspoons of water.
8 teaspoons of caster sugar.
20 cracked ice cubes.
100ml lemon juice
15 ml grenadines
Ginger ale (Replace with any alcoholic drink of your choice.)
Slice of orange
Cocktail cherry
Make sugar syrup by dissolving sugar in water over a low heat. Bring to boil - keep at it and do not stir for 1-2 minutes.
Put half the cracked ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Pur the lemon juice, grenadine and sugar syrup over the ice and shake vigorously.
Fill up two glasses halfway with the rest of the ice cubes, then strain the ready drink from the cocktail shaker onto the ice cubes. Top up the glasses with ginger ale. Decorate with a toothpick, a slice of orange and a cherry.
