Another thing about Half Baked
This could very well by my highness makin me over analyze something simple (just like Jim Bruer (spelling) does when he describes how Killer died), but I think I just keyed in on a subtle little joke/meaning behind the simple, short, soft cough The Guy on the Couch gives when he smokes the medical shit.
The main characters are coughing up their lungs like a bunch of newfags, but The Guy is such a badass that he just barely lets out a little "kehh". Then he nods and goes back to sleep. I think this part goes deeper! Clearly the weed was good enough to get some kind of reaction, and that nod is like him saying "Yeah, it's...decent, acceptable. It's alright I guess, welcome to the big leagures."
Also I love the faces and movements they make once they get baked off of it and start floating...specifically the way Jim says "You guys wanna go outside?" and Dave rolls his head while saying "Yeah." Obviously it does cross over into text, but the way he says it just gets me every time.
