i paid $3,000 fucking dollars
for a new mustang engine from Ford
after putting it in and taking it for a test galavant i now know there is a speed governor limiting it to 120MPH from its max 162ish
i now have to either pay Ford $80 to use their tuner and flash it out of my computer, buy a $200 tuner myself and do it or i could do it for free by disconnection my battery cable for 24 hours but lose all computer assisted traction management and anti lock brakes in the process.
i was cruising at 70MPH then suddenly slapstick 2nd gear downshift, floored it and in the process of the engine rapping out 3 times it shot from 70-110MPH did a violent up-shift into 3rd and then after 1 and 1/2 seconds of speed gain until it hit the limiter. At least im impressed with the new engine feel and know i installed the bitch right. now all i need is to get this WASDOT piece of shit governor off my vee-ate and i can start terrorizing my local state troopers
