 Re: Windows ME A smartphone today would not be compatible. The architecture is different.
However, to make us all truly realize how far we've come. Those specs were 1,000 times better than the computer that got is to the moon. Now, we look at the phone in our hand, and realize that is 4,000 times faster than that pc.

I could abuse this easily. Ten hour clips on youtube embeded in a single vertical stack. Multi-megapixel long transparent GIFs causing scrollbar hell. Nuero-linguistic programs that fuck your mind like a fresh squid. Eye raping color schemes using ascii full-width blocks. Images or links to images of things that can not be unseen. Anything called "epilepsy" dot SWF. This is what I want to do. I am not a good person. I just know that would be a flagrant display of disrespect. I'll wait until I can get away with it.

Re: Windows ME Yeah, architecture is different - still, its the requirements I was pointing at. Looking it over, Windows 95's system/memory requirements are more at an 'app' level rather than an OS proper. You think it'd be possible to port Windows 95 into a file service on a windows smartphone? (Don't bother with iphones)

Re: Windows ME I find this thread hilarious because if I chose to care I would be able to answer any of these questions. I had Win 95 on my last phone. Ran pretty decent. I also had it on my second tablet ago, but the extra overhead from the multicore CPU let me up the game to Win 98. Man. A multiboot tablet sure came in handy… yeah, I need to fuck with my new tablet. It's time.
