we are going to be playing a little call of cthulu unlike my d&d campaign this will be a single scenario of a set size with a clear ending. i have never used the system before so it will be interesting to see what its like also as far as i can tell it does not really matter how many players there are a few extra players can help but you are not gimped by being on your own so who wants to search a haunted house and discover the secrets within (or die trying) and dont worry this wont go the way of car lesbians this is nowhere near as much of a mess as that was |

ok so this will be a short one shot each player will need to download the free 7th edition quick start rules http://www.chaosium.com/call-of-cthulhu ... rules-pdf/ you have to sign up for the website and do some stuff to download it as for some reason although its free its treated like a normal purchase through your shopping cart if you dont want to do that i know most of you are pretty good at finding files from other source stop reading once you get to the adventure thats for my eyes only |

tuypo1 wrote: ok so this will be a short one shot This never picked off, I suppose. You should have mentioned that the site doesn't actually require you to register anything. Maybe that was then, this is now...? Anyway, I picked a copy. |

Hey Tsuki, wanna GM this? I'm willing to play a round or two - get this going and maybe do an EVIL RITUAL to summon tuypo1 back. Got book too. It's a bit meandering at first, but it'll do. |

"I've heard of dead leads before, but this is ridiculous." she sighed as she looked to the clearly abandoned, rundown building. The walls were peeling, flaking away an ancient paintjob, and the small sign that read 'for let' clattering away in the cold street wind. The door was locked, of course. She'd try to force it open... if she knew where to get a grip on! The door's knob had fallen off a while ago, and the mass of tangled rust served now as a heavy deadbolt that kept the musty door in place. While the urge to kick down the door was great, her self-preservation instinct won the battle and she decided to look around for another entry. |

It was at that moment that Ms. Yakumo saw the other signboard, one that had been lying on the floor of the porch. Typed on a piece of thick paper, the lettering quite faded from weather. It read... "Wanted! Private investigators, to investigate the Macario House, rumored to be haunted. Interested parties, please visit Mr. Knott, 312 Northhound Road, Grand Falon, Boston, Massachusetts." The address given is a few blocks away from here. What do you do? |

(Well, Mr. Knotts sounds like the former owner of the Macario House, so if I want in, might as well go see him.) Leaving the old, rundown part of town behind, she emerged onto the sunset of Northhound Road, and a short walk later, she was standing in front of a small 2-house community home. She noted, to her relief, that the house was inhabited and not dead at all. |

One of the people hanging around the house grounds notices Ms. Yakumo and ambles over. "Fine day isn't it, miss?" he drawls out as he doffs his hat. "Are you a new resident to this neighborhood?" |

She shook her head no. "Actually, I'm looking for a Mr. Knotts. A... friend... said he lived here." she gave him one of her full-on charming smiles to cover up her stutter. "Could you tell me where he is?" |
