Here's a new one. I have to make a nice avatar for my soundcloud account, so I sat down and drew this.
I practiced some different ways of sitting like cross-legged, or resting one leg on the other.
This pose is kind of cute, though. Apparently a lot of japanese girls sit with their legs like this because it is considered cute.
I couldn't agree more. :P

Also, wanted to make some cute background, so I drew some Syringa (Lilac) bushes and a cresent moon.
Can't wait to color this one...

this is ecchan [pronounced eh-chan] (elementary chan)
Why ecchan? Because I scribble her on the front of all my elementary japanese notebooks. I spent 1-10 minutes on them. Each drawing represents how I've been doing in japanese.

Here's the first one. I drew it during the Japanese Elementary Introduction. I looked up how to write "Wakarimasen" in hiragana + kanji. The first character is "wa" or "fun/bun/pun" meaning "understand" or "minute". 5 minutes is "go fun" 50 minutes is "go juppun" and "(I) don't understand" is "Wakarimasen" which is what I wrote. I did not understand much, but I kept listening and worked hard.

Japanese Elementary 1. I kept oversleeping and made some minor mistakes here and there, but I got really good grades in the end.

Japanese Elementary 2. (drew this a week ago). I started noticing some bullshit in japanese which makes the language unnecessarily hard, and also, I have a lot of trouble with kanji (although I've managed to do really well on the mid-term exam.) Anyway, I've been rather grumpy because I fell behind alot when I was sick for an entire month. Also, I hadn't really established ecchan's serious look, so I wanted to draw it.
