Sex Kitten: Tentaqueens will be a brothel management sim featuring the levelling of different-powered dildos and other sexcessories which you will use to train and influence a myriad of nymphomanic fantasy characters, many of which will be "special" characters from the Sex Kitten universe.
The concept: You are the idiot hero, pulled from his universe in a spell-gone-wrong. In this world, there are laws surrounding sex that are simply not included in the natural SK universe, making owning a brothel somewhat of a risky business. While your summoner and brothel-owning host prepares a spell to send you back from whence you came, she has somehow roped you into running her brothel, in lieu of the demon she was originally trying to summon to perform this task. You have an arbitrary number of days which will be decided after playtesting, and you will be given a score at the end of these days based on your performance. Continuation in sandbox mode is optional, but there will be rewards for completing with different scores.
The gameplay: After a short (optional) tutorial, accessible any time from the main menu, you will be thrown into the wonderful world of running an illegal business. Even better, your illegal business has a fixed location, creating a significant need for staying under-the-radar and making sure those who do know about your business stay silent. This will take three forms: customer satisfaction, police awareness, and legal immunity. More on these later.
You retain, train, pamper, and pay commission to sex-driven fantasy characters in exchange for their having sex with clients.
Hiring: Some of them require a retainer fee - not everyone wants to drop their lives to work in some shoddy brothel - but there will be plenty of girls willing to start up with only a minor fee, and there will be lower-class girls throwing in applications once you build a name for your business. In addition, random or scripted events will make further characters (whores) available to you.
Training: This is where the sex toys come in. Let's get this out of the way: toys level up and have skill points. They level up based on use and the type (race) of girls using them, as well as what situations they use them in. There are skill trees and some "special" characters may even pair with different "legendary" toys in order to unlock their highest potential, which would be a grandmaster skill of some sort. Training would work around a schedule-based management style where sections of the day are dedicated to training for different girls and other sections for other activities, including work and play. The key here is balance.
Resting: Living things need rest. In this universe you may only take on girls who have insatiable lust and willingly spend their entire lives in brothels, but they do have physical needs to be met, and this will be measured in a visible fatigue and boredom stat. You can combat their fatigue by upgrading your brothel - the other "hardware" component of this sim, where you spend your hard-earned profits on improving quality of life for these girls, making your business a bit classier, making it less (or more) obvious to passerbys, and providing amenities (read: drug paraphernalia) for your guests and girls. You can also combat their fatigue with 'consumable' items or expenses: one-off purchases that can be affected by amenities and hardware upgrades. For example, sending a girl away on a spa weekend might be a little more expensive and time consuming than giving her a bunch of morphine, though the consequences for one of these may be a little more dire over time, and not quite as fulfilling to girls who have standards for themselves. Leave a girl too fatigued and too bored, and her job satisfaction will slowly drop until she looks for other work, no matter how experienced and important she was to you.
Work: Girls have wants, clients have wants (or needs), girls have limits, and all of this means that you're going to want a large cast of girls to fulfill as many requests as possible, while still not driving yourself out of house and brothel by over-staffing and not being able to provide for everyone. Essentially, you match what girls you have to try and milk the most customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and money out of the interaction.
A note on clientele wants: Since they pay in advance, it is training that affects customer satisfaction, and in turn, your brothel's reputation. They will pay more if you can provide for their fetishes off-the-bat, such as offering a certain type (race) of girl, requiring certain amenities (dungeon rooms?), items (if you don't have Slutty McSlut, maybe you can find an outfit in the shop?), and consumables (gallon of lube, anyone?). Obviously these factors will affect their satisfaction, and partaking in certain events is going to affect your girls' satisfaction, particularly if they're adverse. However, at the end of the day, a girl who's bad in bed isn't going to leave your customer very happy. If they pay FH$15000 for the time of their life and you throw on Betty, the farmgirl you just hired who's only had sex with her dog, just because she'll do some rodeo shit, your john isn't going to be too happy. To the end of 'wants', I will also note that girls will have 'traits', such as "innocent demeanour", which are not going to be measurable stats. It's about how they work with what they have, not training them to be disassociative sex masters.
The reputation of the brothel: Reputation will determine how many clients you get, and is based (mostly) on how well your girls fuck - that is to say, client satisfaction. There are other aspects which can affect reputation, such as advertising. Advertising is a one-off purchase that raises reputation and police awareness, though it can easily be lost if you don't deserve such a reputation, so you'd better make sure you're prepared for those picky clients. Reputation also affects how many and what quality of girls want to work at your brothel, though other sub-stats such as classiness, average employee satisfaction, and employee safety are all aspects in the mix. Note that the rooms must be cleaned, and though you can choose not to, and to use the rooms for other purposes, it will affect customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction, depending on how bad it is. (Think % reductions based on if the room is mildly messy, visibly re-used, torn up, or just plain trashed.)
Safety: Bouncers, bribing cops to avoid police raids (game over), lawyers in your corner, even the quality of the beds you buy are all going to affect your employee safety. Police awareness is the most obvious thing you want to avoid, but it's not just a linear measure of how close you are to game-over. You can combat it by having lawyers on retainer, who may find legal loopholes (random events which can lower or nullify the risks of certain purchases), but merely having them will reduce your risk, tying up any investigations as best they can, and generally making sure anyone who wants at you is going to have a bad time. The more lawyers, the more they combat your daily gain of awareness from reputation, possibly even lowering awareness if you have enough of them. Remember, lawyers are expensive, and you've only got so much cash coming in, even if you are a world-class brothel. I mean, how many girls can you hire? (Probably 25-50, I'm thinking. It depends on the limitations I find as this is developed.)
"Random" events: This is the 'story' of the game, where you actually get to make choices that will affect your brothel and the girls involved, and your fate as the idiot hero. These events will become available for random occurrence once certain criteria are met, such as having enough lawyers on retainer to unlock a legal loophole, having enough reputation to attract a certain girl (though this may be a fixed event), purchasing certain items, or pleasing certain clientele. I don't want to say too much on this since it will likely unfold as the game is developed, but there are plenty of opportunities to make the game interesting through these events.
The toys: There will be dozens of base models, all with different upgrade paths that will tier them and make them more or less usable for different girls. There will be toys for monster girls that couldn't possibly work for anyone else. There will be toys that seem to be more like weapons. There will be dildos shaped like monsters. They will level up and change appearance as they level, becoming alternate and more developed forms of themselves. They will have skillpoints, and will be more the protagonist than you, the idiot hero, are. There will be basic toys, there will be legendary dildos, and all of it will be built on a levelling system that seems to scream "there was way too much work put into this aspect of the game". It's because it is actually very important for getting people absorbed into it. These nuances and potential for upgrades and character-development is where this game is going to hit home for some people, and that is what I'm going for. It is impersonal in a way RPGs are not, yet it still gives you a feeling of investment and progress toward some personal achievement.
The Artsy Shit: Since I want to keep the animation to a minimum, other than 'shop' pages and dialogue popups, the only screen you're going to see is that of the brothel itself. This will allow you to see what upgrades you've made in a more tangible sense, allow us to plug in textures and meshes for sexy bitches on very basic animation models that aren't going to be very large in the first place, and generally minimize the amount of work required by artists while still making people feel like they're playing a game with gratuitous sex and an abundance of kinks. There will be no animated sex scenes, though I don't want to completely void people of the concept of reward, so we could provide hentai drawings of characters in true FH fashion, possibly including dialogue for the purpose of kink-fulfillment. It would be easy to reuse an image to create the illusion of professionalism and write up a detailed paragraph or two to accompany it each time the player wants to look in on the action his girls are getting, not to mention story-specific sex scenes.
The UI: This will primarily be accomplished through the brothel itself - management office would bring up your 'scheduling', which is where you would dedicate how girls are going to spend their days. This is intended to be a streamlined system with plenty of buttons for adding all of a certain type of girl into different activities, such as all girls who are tiredness>66 being forced to rest, rooms that are cleanliness<40 getting cleaned, and allowing the player to set what specific threshold they want for those variables. Clientele will be accessed in the reception room of the brothel, allowing you to send girls that are working to work. Shop options will be available through the front door or a separate button on the top menu, which will include the player's (brothel's) inventory, settings, a save/load feature, and a complete list of girls currently working for you. Training will be accessed through it's own room, since I'm drawing a blank on a good alternative for this one. Sex toys can be accessed by a storage facility, which is likely to be a hall closet overflowing with dildos at lower-level storage, and possibly a real facility at higher levels. I hope to keep the theme light through parodied interpretations of characters, gratuitous art, visual humour, and dialogue that is typical of the FH series.
The sandbox mode is where the game is going to shine. Each ending you unlock will unlock a character for purchase, with some special ending unlocking Slutty McSlut or the like. All these characters will be available on whatever saved games you have, you merely have to unlock them and have your cookies recognize that. This is where the cheats will come in, since I don't want people losing that kind of progress because their cookies get wiped. Furthermore, saves will be exportable and importable. This will allow people to develop whatever super-brothels they want, and to create something actually not unlike a personal shrine to sex that they can always come back to and work on.
