Oh hey. I have good news and bad news. What'll it be?

...

I guess you guys are big fans of staying positive, wah wah diddly, so here's the good news. I've set up some payment systems that'll allow me to handle forkheads' financial needs. Ergo, I don't have to walk to the bank with moneyz to spend on the bills every month.

Bad news is.... it gives you ads.

...

Look, I know you guys are probably going to adblock it - but on the other hand, if you could please consider clicking the ads occasionally, it'd make me real happy. Not too much, though. You don't want the ad-service providers to think I'm clickfarming or anything, right? Please report any pop-ups or pop-unders to me and I'll have the faulty ad dealt with.
obvious subtle mental message: CLICK ON THEM ADS!

I guess that's that, for now. Sorry about this, but it had to be done.

Click-farming FTW. I click-farmed 250 dollars over the course of 3 days, manually, once. the ad company went crazy, they contacted the site owner and said they were going to cancel his ads cause they couldn't believe he had that many visitors who clicked ads, but then again they couldn't prove that he didn't so they did pay him the $330 that we had clicked-up.

see, I had dial up back then, I would go on the site click on the different ads on each page of the site (treating the entire forum as one page) then get off teh internet, clear my cookies and cache, reconnect and make sure the IP is different and or use a proxy then repeat the process, then repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat ETC.

usually you get about 3 cents a click from the ad banners and 2 cents from the in text ads.

so given an average of 2 different ads per page and 3 intext ads thats about 12 cents a page, given 3 pages is about 36 cents per run. 250.00 divided 0.36= 695ish

so 695 runs should do it. averaging 1 run every 5 minutes on dial-up internet = 12 runs an hour, 695 divided 12 = 57 hours.

we have an average of 4 visitors a day and 7 days a week, 695/4=174ish , 174/7=25ish at 12 runs an hour thats around 2 hours a day, if everyone on the site spends 2 hours click farming a day we'll have $250 a week. OH SHI- I was supposed to be calculating for a month!

the shortest month is 28 days, 174/28= 7ish so if everyone spends 40 minutes a day click-farming (7 runs on different IPs a day) we'll have $250 a month.

it's even better if you do the click-farming at a net cafee on a different computer each time leaving each computer actively browsing after you finish a run with it. but no worries.

I'll add an exception to my proxy net so it doesn't rewrite the ads out of the live stream and click on a few a day. I currently have no idea what you're talking about. (Sorry, my ad-blocker is second to none.)

I'm all for it. Hopefully we get some context driven ads; I can't wait to see what it does for loli threads. In related news:

Can I click 'em from my office? Haha, it will be blocked by our IT guy, but will that be considered a "click"?

A bit late...

Okay, this is starting to hurt. They are gone, and they weren't real ads.

I wouldn't mind real ads that much.
