Lowest REPORTED violent crime rates. It's all about mentality my friend.

Just because it doesnt show up on paper from an institution you never know if you can trust, doesnt make crimes any less. I can bet you my apartment that there are other reasons why crime rates are down, as in either not reported, due to mentality, or any other bad/good/gray reason.

To put ones trust soley on statistics is folly. But no, I won't stop you from having guns in your homes if you want to. It's your lives. But one can still worry and see it as self-inflicted chaos that should be mended.

Mentality. Just because we THINK and FEEL it is okay, doesn't make it RIGHT. And after you decide for long enough that something is right you will believe your own lies. Nazi's, KKK(Hell, ANY racism in any form), religion, politics, über rich people with no connection to reality etc etc. These are all people and organizations that believed/believe that they were/are right. And they ridiculed/ridicule, attack, harm and defile those who disagree. Fanatism isnt much of a far shot from the concept of being stubbornly sure of "I AM RIGHT GOD DARNIT! ANYONE SAYING ANYTHING ELSE MAKES ME FEEL BAD, SCREW MY CONCIENCE AND SCREW THEM!"

And hey, it's even humanities heritage. We humans have been retarded from the beginning.

But I do think you should have like.. a one month training course and a license to have on you a weapon that can instantly kill people on accident. more people accidentally shoot themselves then trespassers who are successfully stopped with a gun
