As stated in the post, there will only be bad variants left like youtube. But the thing is, they're going to attack those sites too because they can. And then, the demand will make a new one. The most stupid thing about all the companies is that they thinl they can get absolute control. But they can't. New laws open new doors. New restrictions births new workarounds. We're an adaptable race, and we've grown very big. As long as they keep making these stupid laws, sooner or later they will get caught by their own lobbying. And the funny thing is, we keep growing. Day after day. We outnumber them, and they don't care since they think they've got absolute power.

The day of awakening will come, wether it is today or in 50 years. But it IS on the way.

I don't mind paying for "entertainers". But someone just standing on stage singing or is standing shaking their ass or showing ther bling in music vids ain't entertaining in any way. One of the contestants in the Voice UK for example sang a swing variant of a rap song. His day job was singing similar variants at wedding parties. He is an entertainer. We should pay HIM.

But instead we give money to some self-rigtheous living botox ad who shakes her gargantuan ass while some male nobody retard sings the same 3 sentences over and over in the whole song. Or some dude who is so caught up in the gangsta image that his own bling is blinding him. Seriously. Retards, the lot of them. They ain't no entertainers, they're people living of a shallow idea of "stardom" that doesn't have to exist. But weak minded as we humans are as an entity we have only ourselves to blame. Where there are prey, there will be predators. Always.

During WWI and WWII singers were used to embolden troops, give morale. They used icons, and also female singers as most soldiers in need of such brazen envigoring were dominantly male. But they were there to ENTERTAIN still! Heck, back when royalty ruled during the then "civilized" world, you could get killed for not being entertaining.

They're all old types with old ideas. Uncapable of adapting. They think they are, but they're fooling themselves. Those who fight by the sword die by the sword. In one shape or another.

as a person who wants to be a rockstar(or star of some other genre) eventually I think I should get payed for my music and be allowed to charge whatever I want but I also pirate all my music and wouldn't care if you pirated mine, mainly because people who pirate music wouldn't pay for that shit anyways.
