ok so, I have imagined tons of ways that this can work but I want to know how others have already done it.
Fluffy you seem to be well versed on the subject, so; how exactly do torrents work messaging wise? how do the leechers find the seeder? IP? where do they get the IP from? does the seeder broadcast thier IP and torrent info randomly across the whole net till someone who needs it sees it? does each leecher's client log what other people are looking for seeds on?
so many questions, What is the networking set-up?

I'm not too much of an expert, but isn't all that at the bottom of the application and on the site you got the application from. If not, then I'm utterly useless right now.
