Post Association fallacy
I want your opinion of Guilt by association fallacy. So basicly the poor logic of projecting bad things on one person just because they associate with the other person. For example, would you assume PKB was a idiot just because he hung out with Shocksock? You'd be making the guilt by association fallacy. This bad logic can be written as a equation like follows:

"Premise A is a B
Premise A is also a C
Conclusion Therefore, all Bs are Cs "

(copy pasta from this wikipedia article so it may not make sense in this context, but helps bring across a point.

So we can fill in the thing with the two people PKB and Shocksock.

Shocksock is an idiot. PKB hangs out with Shocksock. Therefore PKB must be an idiot.

So you're thoughts on this sort of stuff? Id like to learn more about it, though the information I'm finding about it is full of political dogma so it's really not making sense to me.
