Post Canadian politics
If the prime minister is the representative of Canadian people, what does that say about Canada? I think the election got rigged. There's absolutely no way so many of the Canadian people could be that conservative. It boggles my mind. What happened? If only I knew more Id understand. For example, far as I know Nova Scotia is mostly NDP(New democratic party) I think the bulk of the conservative voters are in Alberta. But I dont really know because I've been ignorant for so long. What are your thoughts on this? Far as I know it's totally irrelevant to most of you as most of the forkheads userbase is from elsewhere.

from america therefore ignorant.

Although, I can tell you politics is all a lie and elections a facade meant to make the feeble minded voters think they make a difference or have control.

:D

Post Re: Canadian politics
Well, even though I'm Canadian I'm pretty new to it since I was apathetic for so long. Though I know the basics

There are 3 main parties in Canada. Consertive, Liberal and NDP. If you put them besides one another they are on a spectrum where NDP is the most liberal, liberal is in the middle and consertive is the most consertive (they are right wing) The quebecers have one more choice, the bloc quebecois (can't spell french) there's also plenty of little political parties that no one votes for like the marijuana party and stuff like that.

If you're wondering what the consertives and the liberals mostly do, they mostly give hand outs to corporations. the consertives are all about the military. Both of them are about rolling back freedom of speech.

Anyways, Id discuss my opinions about the goverment, but most of my opinions are considered crazy by most people. But opinions are opinions.

Nobody in the Vancouver area seems to understand it either. Not many people here seem to notice the changes that different leaders make anyhow, I know I certainly don't.
