Post The Walther Sustainability Crisis/Dilemma after WW2 Times
This could be a quite controversial topic, but eventually, it needs to be addressed, not put away in an attic.

The Walther firearms company had a long history, even enduring the years of the Nazi regime. Still, it persists because it has a longer history than Nazi Germany's reign. Although, it did reached technological advancement due to military investments at that time.

After WW2, Walther go about its business like it had for years. It is actually quite amazing to see such longevity!
Of course, the resounding ill reputation of Nazi Germany will strain all German-based entities to a certain extent. No one will forget the hectic times brought forth by the world powers. Everybody is (trying to) do what they can to recover from awe shocking atrocities sent to those involved and received by those involved. Not only are people recovering, but also learning from the past and adapting mitigative/preventive measures to the best of capabilities.

With such consciousness in our minds, we go find our place in a forming world order.

Given the norms, Walther goes on to business. Yes, there are anti-Nazis sentiments trying to bring down any potential Nazis instance due to the view of a possible, if not real enough, threat. Sometimes, those lawsuits/actions are not just and more monopolistic and fraudulent in motive. Walther will just have to do and manage on whether to accommodate or counter such lawsuits/actions.

---

Okay, is all addressed? Well, no, that's not all. Actually there's more than just humanities and reparations cooperation. There is actually another obstacle, way longer than Nazi accusations. That obstacle is primarily competition.

Competition? Why yes. You mean like, 1911s? While there could be consumer markets due to appeals, 1911s are not the case.

Then what?

The main competitor happens to be Glock firearms. To everybody's surprise, I guess. Glock definitely serves as an alternative than Walther's image. However, the Glock company is not without its own Nazi roots as well. It happens to look the lesser of evils. It was the European firearm image away from the common Nazi associations. Under strictly technical observations, the Glock is basically a firearm, just like Walther and even 1911.

We go on our business, blah blah blah. So what? Well, the Glock did something very different. While its production isn't quality superb, it allows secondary markets to take over its parts. The secondary markets are said to be the most strongest point of the Glock. So it's like modular design, right? It's true, but like any module, inspection must take place to ensure the structure and function is in proper order. If defective designs and defects occur, and occurs in fatal incidents, surely, the consumers will have to reconsider the use of modular parts. Regulations will then take hold to inspect the quality and safety of modular parts.

The competition should have Walther reeling because Glock is not just a firearm, but a competing firearm in Europe. It is competition so close to home, it is so close that it should have been the number one suspect when it comes to sales. Of course, during the early years, no one would have expect such marketing strategies to drag down companies over decades. While it would be a funny occurrence to see such unexpected blunders, the 1911 seems to be suffering recently from the very same loss.

So what can Walther do about the Glock competition? Certainly, it can tamper and sabotage secondary markets, thus restricting Glock firearms in its initial form. The Glock company will just have to make do or start churning out quality parts, increasing the price to a normative level. Of course, tampering and sabotage could have legal ramifications. Then again, timing the production process with capital management, can deal unemployment to the secondary companies. The legal aspects of material is certainly on a whimsy, since one can just inspect on par of safety and functionality. Since the company is based on Austria, Germany can use its EU influence to adjust recession levels. As for other branches, it would be tricky, but stifling the exchange rate to the level of economic sanctions, trade barriers, and blockades. Such impediment does not have to strictly involve the branch and EU. The same crisis/dilemma can apply to 1911 versus the Glock competition. Pretty shady stuff, but hey, in the end, they are all hand firearms compared to dynamics.

Oh yeah, I read on the net that the ppk and small guns are a failing for some reason. Sometimes, that's how small guns go.

There's the pdp, but that also have could be cop specific version so don't go crazy. Yes, there's a civilian version. It's like a mix of glock and m1911. I wouldn't know. Said to have some engineering award a few years back. Only available in 9mm caliber.

What then, well, Allahu Akbar!
