Hey everyone! Let's play Battle Shirotori
Battle Shirotori is a game played by two players and overlooked by a referee, it's a game of resourcefulness and abstract thinking, and sort of Rp.
Here's how it goes
Two or more players are in a white room that spans on in all directions forever. They can call out any object and it will appear. Any place or landscape and it will appear. Any animal and it will appear. You can even call out people and they will appear.
The things you call will be naturally persuaded to help you. This doesn't mean that they will necessarily fight for you, and it does not mean it cannot turn against you. But even inanimate things will appear in such a way as to at least slightly favor the one who called them. (Unless the setting already dictates that it would be against them or produce an absolutely even result example: “Heart” would kill both players instantly in most situations.)
The first will be decided by this random noun generator
http://www.desiquintans.com/noungenerator.php and all following words must begin with the letter OT syllable that the last word ended with.
-The language doesn't matter but you must define all words. (Feel free to give a short monologue. Though it is up to the referee whether it works that way or not.)
-You cannot use the same word twice.
-If you call out another word for something that is already present, it will disappear
-Directly attacking an opponent is strictly forbidden.
After each word, the referee will describe the effects that the new object has on the arena.
If the referee feels that there is a strong chance that multiple things may happen, he should roll a set of 6-D, attributing an additional number to each of them (to simulate which one is most likely).
The object of the game is to either kill your opponent or stop them from being able to answer.
When an opponent is at a disadvantage the referee must state it. Also if someone is in danger of being silenced/dying but would have the ability to stall for life, the referee may grant them one or several turns to turn the tide before the game is over.
Finally, if the referee decides the game is not moving along (or just wants to have fun), they can use the noun generator to add in a neutral object to the game. This may only be one every 5 turns.
It's a game of building advantages and striking at the right time! And it's a game of horrible traumatizing deaths!
Let's have fun! (I'll referee the first time. Who wants to play? lets keep it at 2 or 3 for now. anything else is hard to manage the first time. )
